The XS 0.8, CTEK's smallest 12 V charger, is suitable for charging small batteries (motorbikes, jet skis, ATVs and lawnmowers), as well as for charge maintenance of normal size automotive batteries. The XT 0.8 is a fully automatic 6-step charger that supplies 0.8 A to 12 V batteries from 1.2 to 32 Ah and provides maintenance charging up to 100 Ah. Ripple, details **) The quality of the voltage and charging current is very important. A high current ripple heats up the battery, which has an ageing effect on the positive electrode.
